Food bomb! Get the asada plate, it comes with beans but add a side of rice you'll thank me later, the margarita flights did not disappoint sharing is caring lol, service was great the staff was very attentive

My mother and I had a good time. Great drinks, great food, great service. Wasn't busy. The place is super spacious. I like the outdoor seating too.

First time visiting Tempo Cantina in Downey and had a great time. Our server Fabiola was the best! She was very attentive, friendly, and on top of our mimosas! Will definitely be returning!

The manager, David, allowed our school to have a private party called "Parent Prom." Our servers, Yohan and Itzia did such an amazing job attending to our group of 40 people. They really made an effort to chat with everyone and create a fun environment. My food came faster than expected and it tasted so delicious! I enjoyed the crunch roll sushi, margarita Flight, and the Lamborghini Churros. Thank you Tempo Cantina for allowing us to have such a great experience!

2nd Review So I returned to the restaurant for my second time, this time on a Friday night. It was pretty crowded, but we were seated right away. Service was fairly quick too, so I appreciated that. It was also happy hour as well. It's a vibe at night. The paint inside glows and looks really cool. They have a DJ playing good music, and if you're seated outside they have the heat lamps. The drinks were pretty good. The food was definitely better this time around. Me and everyone at my table enjoyed our meals very much. I had 3 tacos (chicken, asada, and al pastor). All were good but my favorite along with everyone else's was the beef (asada) because they were so flavorful and delicious. Although I didn't try the enchiladas, my friends said they were really good. The only downfall I had this night was the fact that there was a line to enter the valet parking lot, and it was moving very slowly, so I parked elsewhere, leading to my car and several others being towed, so be aware!

Chose this place for a Christmas celebration with my coworkers and it is definitely worth it for the drink and appetizers happy hour! The servers were very attentive and checked in on us often. Food wise I thought it was pretty tasty, but hoped for a little larger portion sizes. I had the surf and turf burrito that came with some fries and multiple dipping sauce. The burrito itself was a little dry and I wish there was some rice in it. I would definitely want to come back and check out some other items off of their menu. The ambiance here is definitely the best part! I loved the outdoor seating area and lights everywhere. The music was good as well. One con of this place is that they have a large parking lot, but it is valet only! So beware. There is some street parking which I was able to find around the block.
